Question:

Reoccurring dreams? ( Might help if christians answer this )?

I've never had reoccurring dreams until i was at this christian camp thing.

I fell sick (which i hardly do) and no amount of medication did me any good. I pretty much slept while other kids were having fun.

But i kept having the same dream each time i slept.

I believe that the is a God but i never did anything about it. I continued sinning. And i believe that God's trying to tell me something through that dream.

What do you think? Is it possible?

I remember this dream vividly unlike my other dreams. And as far as i can remember, i never have the exact same dream twice or more.

I think there's something behind the story in my dream. God's trying to tell me that he's always watching me and i can't hide.

What do you think? Thanks.

  1. It could be a number of reasons you had the dreams.

Don't think that god is watching you and judging your every action, your the one who does that, not Him/Her. All that idea is to make you feel guilt and that you must act in a certain way and not do certain things to be good. There are many gods, you have one within you, find out who your god is and what there will is from yourself, don't read a book about it. I agree with some of the values that christiany advocates, but really teh bible is an attempt at mass mind control, (that worked fairly well).

  2. I believe God forgives us and that sinning is human nature, remember there is original sin that we all have and that baptism is supposed to relieve us of. I believe you dont have too go to church every week and preach everyday and be perfect because we are human and God made us that way. If he wanted us to be perfect he would have made us that way. I have had reoccuring dreams before  but they are usually ones that I had when Iwas really young and then they were bad dreams. The way I thinnk of religion and belief in God is that the most important thing is believing in him, praying every once in a while/regularly (not just for help or forgiveness but saying thank you for...) He may be trying to tell you something but I dont think he was punishing you. The reoccuring dream may also have been a result of whatever you had that was making you sick

  3. he is speaking to you. take the dream and interpret it to what you believe, not what others tell you it means.

  4. There are several mentions of dreams in the bible.  Here is a couple sites I found.
