  1. Check out the Board Lady - especially if you live in the Ventura area.  Otherwise just take it in to your local shop if it's a small ding.  You can use those quick fix tubes if it's a crappy board.

  2. sorry my surfers friend would answer that better.

  3. Clean out any dirt etc. from ding. Lightly sand area. Go out about three-quarter inch around ding when sanding lightly. This is so the new resin and cloth will stick. Fill ding hole some cut pieces of 6-8# fiberglass cloth. Remember to use some tape, duct tape works in a pinch, around the sanded area. This keeps resin from going where its not needed. Fill the ding slightly above surrounding area on board. Too much and you'll be sanding forever. Let dry completely. Sand with #80-100 sandpaper. Check to see if your getting even with board surface. When close to even switch to #120 to blend new surface to old surface. You can buy the kits to do this at any surfshop. UV cure resin is faster but don't do repair in sunny area. You can also buy Q-Cell or others that you mix with the resin and use for deep punctures. Cuts out the need for using fiberglass cloth on small dings. Good luck. I repaired boards for years. I designed, shaped and glassed surfboards also. If you get closed out on doing this, email me. Kickin' Out.
