Repair of a broken zig zag spring?

we have a top of the line sofa and one zig zag spring broke, I was thinking that thee must be a part that can reconnect this broken spring so it does not have to be remove and replace, doe anyone know of a part that can reconnect a zig zag spring? Any workable idea welcome
