The on/off switch on my Husqvarna 41 chainsaw stopped working (didn't
kill the running engine). Tired of pulling the choke, I replaced the switch, and in the process
noticed a break in the two strand wiring harness. I replaced the
wiring harness, and now the saw won't start. I have found complete
electrical continuity between the base of the plug and both poles (and
the plug end of the plug wire) of the ignition module and both poles of the
switch (whether on or off), but no continuity between the top of the plug and anything else. How does the off switch on this saw work? Is it supposed to establish or kill continuity?. Suggestions?
