Repairing drawers?

I'm not sure how to explain this. My bathroom drawers collapsed. I understand how to fix the runners and we have already done that. The problem reoccurs because the strips of wood across the front of the cabinets, between the drawers in loose. You can wiggle them. They are nailed in to the sides of the opening when you take the drawers out. I can't figure out how to stop the wiggle. Can I somehow brace the strips from behind?

you should renail them, simple as that.

If you need restraints just go to ur local hardware store and they should have some kind of metal thing that looks like a triangle, and just glue or nail those to the inside at the bottom. If it gets in the way, just nail the sides back together.

sounds like the entire cabinet is falling apart.  the strips across the front are only there to separate the drawer openings,  Nails will never hold in the end grain of the strips.  as the drawers are opening and closing the nails flex in the wood until the hole is big enough  then they slide out of the wood.  

These face frame parts (that is what they are called)   should be glued to both the slides and sides of  by glue.If there is old glue it must be removed by scraping or sandpaper.  The glue mentioned in the others is an excellent glue.  but of the parts needs to be dampened with a wet rag.  the dampness sets the glue.  Then get a small box of Brads  (small nails, no longer than 1 1/2 inches>)  Drive the nails into the top of the strip at an outward angle into the side of the cabinet.  Do this both from the top and bottom of the cabinet.  If the wood is hard you may have to drill  pilot holes about half the depth of the nail length.  If you dint have a drill bit just smaller than the size of the brad take one of the brads from the box and lay it on the sidewalk and hit it on the pointed end...this will drill the hole in a electric drill.

Try using some Gorilla Glue it solves all wood problems

Yes gorilla glue make sure you read the directions carefully as most people even professionals don't, also use tape or clamps if you have them to hold the piece in place until the glue cures.
