Question:

Repetitive dreams about dying, what do they mean?

I had a dream quite recently where my whole life was set out like one of those violent shoot out video games. Weirdly, I don't ever play violent video games. In my dream, I was desperately trying to escape from somewhere, but these people kept shooting at me. Then I would die. Every time I died I would go back to where I started. I then woke up in the middle of the night when I just couldn't take it anymore. I often have dreams like this which repeat themselves until I can't handle it and wake up. What does this say about me? Do dreams of this type mean something?

  1. I've been feeling lately like reality is about to be transformed into one in which life is a lot like a video game, where you can die, be revived, and continue having fun....like heaven is close at hand and we're about to see life change a lot to where it's more like a dream, but with stability.  We'll all be immortal, and we won't have to work, go to school, or do anything we don't want to do.  I think your dream is telling you that life is becoming more of a game, and while it doesn't seem like it now, it's about to start changing soon, even to where dream elements start creeping in on real life, hence the mixture of your whole life laid out in the dream as a video game.

  2. it doesn't mean anything i usually have those dreams before you go to bed pray that you have good dreams and think about something like cooking music or whatever...

maybe your fears or past are playing out in a more violent way..

just think about something nice nothing to do with bad things what-so-ever

  3. Ok sounds cool but next time you have these dreams do your best to try to put a Gun out of nowhere and shoot back, therefore making these kind of "Realistic" Dreams fun if that is not the info that you wanted try to google "Video game dreams" youll be supprized what you find

    Good Luck Girl

  4. Its a dream.

Move on with your life as usual.

    End of story.

  5. It sounds like you are resisting changein your life, possible with your family if they are often involed in the dream. Is there something career, romance wise that you are resisting because you fear the change that is associated with it. Dreaming of death often signifies a change that could occur (rebirth). Make sense?

  6. Are there critical people in your life, or do you feel shot down easily when someone gives you corrective advise?

If it's the first, it's very negative words from others that is harmful rather than useful. Those words are keeping you from moving forward and growing in your life. Their attitudes and criticisms are holding you back. They may be people who are in competition with you ( or think they are ). They could be your peers, or it could be family, or both.

Who's words are you trying to escape from? You are feeling turmoil about those words. Are they valuable, true words, or are they lies from the enemy ( the devil wants us to believe his lies about us, God wants to show us the truth )?

You are feeling a trap. What is it that is causing you to feel this way? You have to be the one to pray and ask God to show you if the people represent real people or different circumstances.

Bullets can and do often represent words aimed at you.  but prayer is essential to ask God which it is.

  7. shooting often represents hurtful words.  Does that have anything to do with your life right now?  Are you in a situation where you feel like

you have to start all over with someone or something?  Like you aren't making any progress?

see if any of that fits.
