  1. America is a materialistic country and it’s all about the Benjamins.  The poor are forced to live in substandard housing.  They are forced to deal with substandard or no health care.  They are forced to eat on an allowance of about $20 per person a week.  If they have children or a spouse, they can receive money to help pay for things like toilet paper, tooth paste, shampoo, etc.  If not, they must make do on their own.  Those with money look down on the poor and consider them lazy.  It is hard to find a job with out an address or someone to keep your children.  They fail to see the whole picture.

The overweight are looked at as sloppy and lazy.  People make nasty jokes about them.  People think that all overweight people are that way because they eat and eat and eat.  It is true in some, but not all cases.  It is not easy for them either.  They cannot go everywhere because the chairs do not always accommodate them.  Clothes have to be purchased at a special store and cost three times as much.  Health conditions limit movement for some of them.  Even though America is getting fatter and fatter, overweight people are still looked at with disgust.

The elderly suffer abuse at the hands of those who are supposed to take care of them.  Con artists love to prey upon the elderly.  People put their parents/grandparents in retirement homes and abandon them there.  Americans are afraid to get old and lose their 'beauty'.

I think they are all about equal.

  2. It's easy to be fat with the high quality of food we have here. Old is easy too, just wait long enough. Poor is the easiest, just don't work.

So I guess it's hardest to be old 'cause it takes so long.

  3. Poor is the hardest. In America, you are completely defined by the things that you own and the monetary value of those things.
