Replace Jamie® Pompadour Yarn, and all other Jamie (Lion brand yarns)

I have a pattern for a baby bunting that I really want to use. The Jamie yarns from Lion Yarns are all discontinued. They are listed as #2 weight yarns, and it is hard to find a replacement for this weight.

What can I use?

I would suggest a sport weight or DK weight yarn for it.  Jamie Pompadour was a heavy baby or sport weight.  A DK weight yarn will knit to the recommended gauge for Jamie.  I checked a discontinued yarn site for this information.
