Replaced battery and it says OPEN

I have an old casio Pathfinder (1376) PRT-50, and I replaced the battery and it says OPEN, but I'm not sure if the battery is the correct one, because I lost the original, just in case I put a Maxell CR2016 3V, If anybody knows about this, help me, thanks...
