Okay, so we replaced the fuel filter on our Explorer and it seemed to fix the problem last night. It ran great and started numerous times. BUT this morning the dang thing wouldn't start. We tried pushing the fuel reset button but still nothing... any suggestions?

  1. well there are many questions to ask here, you replaced the fuel filter cause it was no starting? you need to find out whats missing when its a no start, like fuel pressure or spark, lets assume its fuel pressure, how many miles on the explorer, alot?  4.0l explorers had fuel pressure regulator problems, might be the fuel pump itself is just worn out and will not build proper pressure, whats the fuel pressure reading, a gauge is needed? you might be further ahead to take it to a garage you trust and have it diagnosed, they should have the equipment to tell you what the problem is, but there is no simple answers without some test equipment
