I have a 1990 Buick LeSabre Luxury edition and it started leaking and running hot not to long ago. I replaced the water pump on it, but it still leaks and overheats after a few miles. Could anyone tell me any suggestions as to whats wrong? I hope I didn't crack a head gasket or something...The engine also knocks now while it's on (sounds like a piston problem). After I drive it and it gets to hot the noise becomes more like a chirping noise kinda. Any help?

  1. Does not sound good.  Some times the intake gaskets leak internally.  The coolant will get into the oil.  Check your oil level dip stick.  If the level is over full and it looks like chocolate milk that is what has happened.  When  you get the noises you are describing it is usually bearing related.  Not Good.
