Question:

Replacement Sirius satellite radio power cord?

I have the Sirius Stratus plug & play radio in my car. I had it plugged into the power outlet on the back of my console, but over the weekend my bro-in-law flipped the middle seat up to get to the third row, and it broke the plug. Is it possible to go somewhere like Radio Shack and just get a replacement plug/cord??

  1. Maybe. Probably have more luck with Circuit City or Best Buy if you need it quickly. If you can wait a few days, try eBay.

Get out the old phone book or just do it on line.

Put the dept. store name in your favorite search engine followed by a comma then your ZIP code. The nearest store should pop right up. Give them a call and ask. If they don't have it ask the clerk if he/she knows where you can get it in your town.

If they don't have it and don't know, go to the next store on your list. Certainly one of those three will have the part, if it's available at retail.

  2. You can probably pick one up at Circuit City. or online like at amazon.com Make sure you buy the correct power cord, if its too overpowered It will kill the radio ( been there, done that!)

Online Stores like - http://www.myradiostore.com/sirius/ will probably have your replacement power cord. However, not all there pictures on there website are what you get when you order. ( Been there done that as well)
