Question:

Replacing car radio

I just bought a Durabrand 60 watt AM/FM Car CD Player (DB1215). I took out a factory radio of a 1991 Honda Accord. The wiring connection for the Accord is still in place and has 14 wires in the plastic casing. The casing for the new Durabrand is much smaller than the one in the Accord. Do I need to cut the wires the the plastic casing from the old and then re-wire the new system? The wires on the new system have different colors than the ones from the old???
