  1. yes mask, and be careful, do small areas at a time, you masy loosen up the tile in large area's, then you'll be replacing tiles too.

  2. not really ..I do not believe it is mold, just mildew...so feel free to scrap it off and make sure you buy a silicone based sealer that is made for bathrooms so that it will be mildew resistant.

    Good luck

  3. re-grouting is fairly easy.

Just use something to strip out the grout (but not mess up the tiles)....ideally a grout blade, but a utility knife would work fine.  I'd wear a mask for this.

Wash it with bleach (then let it dry).

I'd buy the unmixed grout, because you can control the consistency (watery or thick)....make sure you get the right color.

Spread it over with a putty knife and use a sponge to make it smooth.

Once it's dry you can clean off the tiles with a light abrasive (like one of those green plastic dish scrubbers) and put some sealer on the grout.

    Good luck.

  4. yes i would wear a mask as the mould spores can be dangerous if inhaled in to the lungs,
