Replacing the water container in an Ebac 2600ex dehumidifier there was a flash and the machine ceased to operate. I have installed a new fuse in the plug. I suspect that the problem is with the switch which is activated by the water container but there is no sign on the casing that a flash has occurred here. What is the most likely explanation?
