Is there a certain kind I need to get? or would a water heater I buy at, lowes, work for a mobile home?

Are there any sites explaining how to install one? I can't find anyone in my area that will.

And cold showers suck =(

  2. Any manufactured home service company will install it, or plumber, or handyman

  3. Silent:  Buy you water heater at Lowes or Homedepot.  Just make sure the height and width will fit in the space you have.  Buy the same type you have electric, gas, or propane.

    Good Luck

  4. Either gas or electric..the size of the hot water heater does not matter as long as the place it is installed is big enough to hold it...make sure to measure the width and the heigth of the present hot water heater..it is your choice of how many gallons of a heater you use..you can downgrade or upgrade in the gallon size as long as the place it is to be put in is wide and high enough to hold it...40 gallons is the most common for a mobile home, unless you have a double wide with 2 or 3 bathrooms and more than 3 people living there..then upgrade to a 50
