Replica products worth buying?

Question

came across a website selling replica goods, checked the site and it seeemed genuine enough, question is, is it worth buying replica?, do a lot of people do this? is there anything i should know before buying them?

Be aware that replica sometimes translates as fake.  If they are made by legitimate companies who follow the correct standards, then you should be okay.  Unfortunately there are too many crooks out there, so buyer beware!

Replicas are just copys of the original things. If the originals can't be bought, replicas are made. Like football tops.

Your robbing the true owner of any royalties due which makes it illegal.

"replica" is just a pretty word for "counterfeit" - if merchandise is licensed to be sold by the original designer or manufacturer, it would not be called a replica.  You can go to jail for buying counterfeit merchandise, and you can go to jail for selling counterfeit merchandise.  While the web site may be 'genuine" it is not legit, because legit sites and vendors don't deal in illegal goods  So since the site is already willing to break the law by sellling the counterfeit merchandise, what recourse would you have if they stiff you too?
