Replies to GroupName-owner are not reaching me?

I'm having a problem with replies to GroupName-owner@yahoogroups.com not reaching me. They are not in Junk/Spam.

This is a serious problem as I require a response to a brief query before approving membership in my groups, and I can't approve the pending members if I'm not getting a response.

If it matters, GroupName-owner@yahoogroups.com messages are sent to my Dot Mac account.

  1. Let me start by stating the obvious.  

    If the name of your group is "Mystery_Shoppers_USA"

    then you need to have the "GroupName-owner" set to Mystery_Shoppers_USA-owner@yahoogroups.c...

    Secondly, to make sure you receive the messages from Mystery_Shoppers_USA-owner@yahoogroups.c... you should add that address to your address book.

    Lastly, double check for typing errors.  

    You can look into the "bouncing messages" area of your group to see if/when messages are not being delivered.

  2. you may want to test out a web based mail provider and see if the owner mail does go there. you have to determine if it's a yahoo issue or your mail provider issue, and this is a way to know if it's you or yahoo
