Question:

Report old grades to grad school?

In 2003 I attended an american university overseas for a semester. It wasn't very good and since I was in a foreign country too busy touring to study I did very poorly. In fall of 2003 I entered a different undergrad program in the US. My credits from the old university didn't transfer and they are not on this universities transcripts, nor did they count towards my current degree. Should I include or leave out the grades from the overseas american university I attended?

(I'm an american citizen btw)

  1. If none of the courses transferred, then I'm assuming your current university does not have it on record. If so,then I wouldn't report it. How would they know? Don't ruin your GPA if you don't have to. I wish I wouldn't have transferred some of my grades to my current school. You may loose credit, but you save an explanation when applying to grad school.

  2. Sorry, but if you were registered, you need to include them.  If they come up in a search you would look deceptive otherwise and that would eliminate you from admission.
