Report online abuse.?

Question

I am 14 years old, and I am a member or the PATDOnline boards, and there is a 22 year old girl that is harassing us. Is there a website where I can report her to the authoroties? She has said many sexual remarks to me and my 12 year old friend and we really want it to stop. Thnks.

Have you tried reporting this to the moderators of the boards you are on first? If you are from the US, save any evidence that you can of the harassment and tell your parents.  Your parents can report her to the right authorities, beginning with your local police department, who would most likely take it from there.

I don't know about a website for that sort of thing, or for that matter what "PATDOnline" is, but since you're 14, your first step should be to let your parents know what's going on. Your parents can then make a decision on what to do next. If they feel they can't handle it themselves, they can notify local law enforcement about what's going on, so that it can be determined if a crime has actually taken place. Without knowing your state's laws and the specifics of what she's done, I'm not even going to guess on whether anything criminal is going on here, but even if it turns out that it hasn't, if the police will contact her or the board administrators, just being questioned by the police will often be enough to end such a situation. You need to report this to the moderators.  They will warn the 22 year old first or they may be able to go over what she has already typed.  They can do this by her ip address and ban her.  I would also mention this to your parents.
