Reported that a further 2p a ltr on Road Fue?

In April it is propose the Chancellor will levy a further 2p a ltr on Fuel.Where will it end.

I fail to see why, the tax is the highest in the EU as it is, in Cyprus it is 1.02 cents a litre  (74 pence).

I smoke, have a beer and drive, pretty near subsidising the country on my own!

Note.... 2p / litre    =    9p per gallon.
