My boss has his whole family on his Payroll at his 7-Eleven here in Chicago. His wife, daughter and mother are supposed to be working, but in 7 years none of them have worked a single day. They are all managers, I handle the payroll so I've seen how much money they make, and I want to report that. I have been a toady for too long with out a single promotion, and I've been working there for 7 years loyally. Yeah yeah, 7 years.... I am looking for a new job now, but I want to report this to Seven & I Holdings Co, there parent company. I do not know how or where to do this....

Any help would be appreciated thanx

  1. The fee is the franchise fee.  And actually,  there is not much you can do since he is paying them out of his profits.  He could say their job description is to help him bounce ideas around at home and he pays them for it.

  2. 7-eleven doesn't care.  As long as the owner keeps paying his fee each month, they don't care.  What he is doing isn't wrong, it is actually good business sense.  He is taking out profit so he won't pay more in income tax.  I am getting ready to start a business and my wife will work about 20 hrs a week and i will pay $600 a week.  Less money i have to pay in income taxes.

  3. don;t quit - rat them out and maybe you'll be made manager
