Reporting Violation on Yahoo Answers???

Question

After three pretty recent violations, I have now decided to start reporting others myself. I figure if people didn't ask idiotic or boring questions, I wouldn't feel the need to say insult them and or answer them inappropriately. I also enjoy the power of reporting them. I now regret not doing this sooner.

How much "reporting" do you do? Also, do you feel like a snitch or do you enjoy your new found power? Also, have you added someone as a contact just so you could "report" all their lame/idiotic/offensive questions?

I have never reported anyone and never will. If i don't like a question i ignore it.

i don't report anyone, because yahoo answers is a place to hang out and have fun answering fun questions.

I don't mess around with the report button,but if I had to,I would report,but I never report.

personally i have not reported anyone and i don't think i have been reported.

i do understand what you mean about the silly questions, but alot of them are from young kids who don't know the answer or are just being kids.

sometimes i find the silly questions quite humorous

Thats exactly why I have stopped asking questions, my q&a's are on private and am not allowing contacts. I think that is mean that you are reporting people for no reason.

i just got reported like yesterday...i will be Pissed if i get suspended.

The thing is, I could report this question ( I won't) And it gets automatically deleted. I think Y!A's team ppl should review what got reported first

I've got a sack load of violations,but I don't go round taking it out on others.If you think you're going to get a notice,stay away from the question.By adding people as contacts,you've just admitted you're a troll,stalker.That's not going to gain you any friends.Remember,it takes 2 people to report abuse,so you alone aren't going to make any impact

I got reported few times and I report when there's an insult in the answer. Other than that I don't report for FUN like you do.. it's not nice
