I do not want to go into details, and I am filiing a complaint witht he Michigan AG's office. However I am asking in general, regardless of my personal recourse, what many agencies can I file a complaint with- or report this to in order that this have an increased chance of getting investigated? My goal is to tell my story to as many agencies that will follow up with this - and hopefully they will take practices like this more seriously in the future. 1. You can't do anything about "professional", only illegal.

Who you report to would depend on the crime.

The health department is commonly involved with real estate.   Criminal activity is handled by the District Attorney.

The BBB only gets involved with business contracts, they will not get involved with real estate contracts between a tenant and landlord.
