Reprorgram my audi a6 key fob

Question

i there my key stop working opening and shuting the central locking it woulnd work manully and in the engine so i got some new battries still does not work does it need reprorgraming and how do u do it please

Turn ignition on so all dash lights come on, then remove key & shut drivers door, put key in door lock barrel & turn to lock position whilst pressing lock button on fob then unlock door pressing unlock button on remote fob. Try this. Good luck

try butting the key in the ignition,turn it and press the buttons on the key
