I have read up on all these, and own some of them!

  1. You would have to take into account many factors in order to answer this question, some of which may include amount of upkeeping, housing, size of the animal, feeding, and temperament.

Personally, I would think the leopard gecko, bearded dragon, corn snake, and milk snake would be the easiest to care for because they remain relatively small, require little upkeeping and simple heating elements, and generally feed well. They can also become accustomed to being handled. Ball pythons also require the same amount of care as corn snakes, except that they tend to be finicky eaters... mine has gone on two hunger strikes lasting nearly a year each!

Green iguanas, and chameleons generally require much larger enclosures with specific climate control and climbing accessories which would be much more difficult to clean, maintain, etc. and so I would say they require more care. As for the frilled dragons, I have little knowledge about them but according to a website, they seem much more active than iguanas and chameleons and may require the most care.

So my order, from easiest to hardest to care for would probably be:

    Leopard Gecko

    Bearded Dragon

    Corn Snake

    Milk Snake

    Ball Python

    Green Iguana

    Veiled Chameleon

    Panther Chameleon

    Frilled Dragon
