  1. Racks are nice, because it is easier to control heat and humidity.

  2. Reptile racks are a good option if you are keeping a lot of snakes. Racks and Tubs hold humidity and heat better but don't look as nice.

I prefer tanks simply because they look better, plus With a nice tank setup, you can impress company. Sometimes it's hard to keep humidity up, but a wet cloth covering half of the top helps out.

  3. Racks are easier for keepng lots of snakes in a small space. The tubs are easy to clean. You can hook a thermostat to the rack to control all of the snakes' temperatures. I use racks for my smaller snakes and large cages for the big pythons and boas. I don't use fish tanks for my snakes other than maybe one or two displays.

  4. Racks work. They're effective space and time savers. You may want to have a tank for a striking display animal, but imagine you eventually get... say four Ball Pythons. It wouldn't be really convenient to have four 30-55 gallon tanks laying around on tables or stands....Then  having to clean those 4+ tanks, so we use racks with tubs.

The snake doesn't mind the tub as long as its set up properly,so yeah, racks.
