  1. For the 30 gallon you could try water dragons, Tokay geckos (which are really pretty), You could make a really awesome dart frog/ mantella habitat...(you could use the 10 for that, but you would have alot more space in the 30)

The 10 gallon... maybe if you were interested in tarantulas... you could start a mouse breeder colony for your red tail. Good luck fellow reptile hobbyist!

  2. oooo i have a red tail boa... its crazy huge...

  3. any kind of Geckos will be fine in a 10 gallon i suggest Wonder Geckos they look so cool

I hope you know the rule for geckos

    10 Gallon a Gecko

  4. Ball pythons only need a 30 gal for their whole life. Or you may get a milk or king snake. They will stay in a 30gal also.

  5. Well that Red Tail is going to need a 40 breeder when it is an adult.

For a 10 gallon, you can get away with smaller lizards and snakes (baby).  I had two ball pythons in a 10 gallon tank until they recently outgrew it.

A 30 gallon tank should be ok for a single adult royal (ball) python, or a few corn snakes.  I highly recommend these two species because of their overall ease of upkeep and attitude.

  6. For a ten gallon I would recommend a Western Hognose Snake. Really nice snakes to own, they are unique in that they act and hiss, but don't bite. They can flare up like a cobra and also play dead by rolling upside down and opening there mouth. Plus they usually dont get over 34 inches for a female and 29 for a male and live 10-15 years in captivity. They can also be housed together if they are similar in size to one another. If you buy two of them, I would have to say a 30 gallon tank would be a great. Good luck!
