  1. A pointless, useless, criminal invasion of another country.  About the same as Hitler did to Poland and other countries prior to WWII.

  2. I'm a very independent voter, and here's my view.

We went into Iraq because of the UN inaction on Hussein's claim to have WMD's. The intelligence has proven to be faulty as has been claimed by many, despite Hussein having used WMD on his own people (The Kurds)

We went in to Iraq, with the support of Dems and Reps, despite what people say. It's on the record. We also had the support of many of our allies.

We have since defeated Hussein, that war is over. The war has evolved in to a war on terror from our viewpoint, and a sectarian war from the viewpoint of the Iraqi's. Iraq (the government ) wants us out. Many of the Iriaqi people don't want us to leave yet, because they fear the government is too unstable.

I honestly think we'll be out in the near future..........

  3. Think: politics.

Notice how the Democrats were all loudly proclaiming defeat six months ago and now are pretending that Iraq does not exist?

The Democrats saw that Iraq is a strong issue for their base and a weak issue for the Republicans - so they simply chose the position that will provide them the most number of votes.

Notice that in the past 4 years we have not seen a Democrat long-term strategy for winning the war on terror?  The best they can come up with is "go after Bin Laden" and resurrecting Clinton's failed counter-terror strategies.

  4. i'm a dem (as my name obviously states) and i have been against this war since the beginning.  there, that's it...no rambling....i really want to though, i really hate this administration...there, that's it, nothing more....

  5. It's basically the same as their view points on the Vietnam War. It's weird.
