Republicans, is it not time to talk about the things that matter instead of McCains time in Viet Nam?

It's starting to get annoying.. That and the Maverick line. It is turning into a drinking game. Anytime the words Viet Nam or Maverick take a drink.

It is time to start talking about what he will do, not what he has done! I want answers on what he will do for this economy and how his plans will work. Let's talk about the economy and how to get these jobs back.I could give a rats behind about the rhetoric from either side, I want answers. Who's with me? Whoever is running this campaign, needs to start pulling their head out of their backside. Democrats don't get happy with this question either. You people need to start checking the bs and distortions going on in your own party.

OMG! do we need to hear about his POW days for the 10 millionth time? I have the utmost respect for the man and what he has done for this country. But my uncle is a Vietnam vet, he never talks about it, most of the vets don't go around talking about it. They talk about it amongst themselves. This guy is constantly talking about it, he's losing my sympathy for sure. We get it John, we heard it all week from every single speaker and from you and your wife last night. We get it and thank you, now move on to something that matters to the American people!

Man, Obama needs to stop talking & start showing us the BEEF!! He messed up on The Factor admitting the surge was working. And, he only has himself to blame because he boxed himself into either saying what he did last night or saying the surge did not work... but that would have MOST DEFINITELY been political suicide!!

McCain is well known, his record is well known, but his Vietnam experience is not!! Go McCain... make the liberals MAD. They could NEVER have the courage you exhibited & their JEALOUS. John F. Kerry is said to be sulking because he wish he were like John S. McCain!! McCain's issues & votes are out there open for you to see, Obama's are not except those PRESENT votes, so let McCain have his time of GLORY. He deserves it!! Thank God for him.

Doesn't it remind you of decent old man on park bench that keeps reliving stuff that happened almost 50 years ago. My biggest annoyance is what actually happen to McCain while prisoner. How much time was he in hospital, what did he do to send video message out. If you were not hiding something wouldn't the very logical thing to do be-- Get intelligence you know of prisoners to military intelligence.
