Republicans, what do you think of Obama telling the media to back off of Bristol Palin?

Palin is an easy target. I still don't understand what McCain was thinking when he picked her over other seasoned Republicans like Romney.  It's a feather in Obama's cap, but the GOP must ignore it.

Although I disagree with his politics, Obama is a politically astute gentleman.  Perhaps those on Y/A who are having such fun hurling insults and obscenities at Palin and her family will heed their leader's example, or if not, mature a bit before they reach voting age.

He is so respectful and classy.  Obama has always taken the high road.  Even when Palin was first announced he told his people that they were way too harsh on her.  If it was up to Obama this would never be an issue!

Obama doesn't say or do anything even remotely supportive of any Republicans unless it's in his own best interests to do so.

Besides, it doesn't matter what Obama does because you Obamites are tearing into the Palin family like a pack of rabid dogs. He can afford to be gracious.
