I'm actually supporting Obama, but I wanted to see what people had to say about McCain's pick. I'm incredibly surprised McCain has chosen a female VP. This year's election has just gotten way more interesting.

  1. change we can believe in! wooooooo hooooooooooooo!

  2. Crossing party lines and voting republican (entire extended family as well).  Obama made a huge mistake by not choosing Hillary.  The reality is that Obama lacks experience like Palin on foreign affairs.  This presidential race is about color and gender.

  3. I changed my republican status

  4. He did an awesome job choosing Gov. Palin, she has the brains, and the determination to fix things.  Foreign policy is something she will have to work on, but do you doubt her?  She has proved she can many things in her life.  This really opened the door to Hilary supporters, and took Hussain out of the spot light for being black because she is a woman, oh darn.

  5. I believe he did pick her as a strategic move.  Remember when Obama beat out Hillary for the democratic nomination?  Well, the are alot of females out there upset by this and he is trying to get those women's vote.  I think Obama made a big mistake by not picking Hillary for his running mate, but its ok.  In four years, when the race for president is back on, I am sure Hillary will run and I am sure she will win.  I am a Republican, but I wanted Hillary to win because she is a woman.  I can't help it, lol.  I'd love to see a female running things for once.  But I think McCain made a move that might gain him some female votes, and thats what he wants.  To get those voters that wanted Hillary but not Obama to vote for him.  We'll see if he made the right move.

  6. You could put a t**d in a suit and call it the VP and republicans would love it just the same.

  7. i think shes prolly a nice enough women, in fact prolly a great women.. one all our daughters can look up too, BUT i dont think shes brings much to mccains team!  i had never even heard of her b4 today..

  8. I think like obama she lacks experience but makes up for it by compensating mccains age

  9. I'm angry. He is so old. What happens if he dies or has a stroke and she becomes president? She knows nothing about foreign policy and stated she hasn't paid attention to Iraq so she has no opinion on it. Scary...

  10. he just won the election, I think it was a good pick though I would have preferred Romney in a more old school election

  11. McCain just fragmented his party. This election is OVER.

  12. She is an amazing woman.

  13. Bravo John McCain, Bravo!

  14. McCain REALLY REALLY doesn't want to be president.  What an idiot.  He could have picked Condoleeza Rice if he wanted a woman, and went with a no name nobody who has run a state with the population size of the suburb where I live.  Republicans can't knock Obama for lack of experience anymore, which was the only thing going for the party.  This is just stupid, its going to be the reverse of Mondale/Reagan.  Let's just start playing hail to the chief for Obama now, christ.

I'm voting for the third party.

  15. She could be the female Obama. Nobody heard of him 18 months ago

  16. I'm very pleased with his choice.

  17. I think already no one has let her speak or even tried to see where she stands,

I guess everyone will find out \

I cannot Judge her I do not know enough yet

I am not getting all offended without considering everything like some

  18. Surprised, yet confident that she would make a VP.

  19. a true patriotic American

  20. Politically it is the choice I was hoping he'd make!  Her approval rating at home is good,  she comes across as being smart and capable.  I think it is a brilliant move, politically, and I think a good one for the USA.

Is she a messiah,  no I don't think so,  logical people don't put super-human powers to humans; we aren't maniacs.  Will she bring a whole new dynamic to our government, YES OF COURSE!!  And she is young enough that she could follow McCain as President and still be young and vibrant for a long career.

I think, even though I was a Hillary supporter, that this team represents more my values than Barack and Michelle who are just too pandering to the ghetto types for me.

  21. The best that could have happen. McCain as President and a young smart lady as VP it's perfect!

McCain showed his maverick side once again.

  22. I think it's a great idea. He just got quite a few Hillary supporters and Obama supporters to go with him.

  23. he should have gotten RON PAUL instead. getting a woman as your running mate is just a sign of weakness. but the still have my vote over obama.

  24. Attractive for one but also smart and I heard a good record but that can always change.

  25. I like her ok.

    Still don't like McCain, though...

Ron Paul 2008 or as close as I can vote and have it counted.

  26. STUPID!!!!!!!
