  1. She is a woman

  2. Brilliance.  She's capable and credible, plus she's the first woman to ever be on a GOP presidential ticket.  Not to mention the possibility many Clinton supporters will give her a vote.  I think it's like driving a wedge down the middle of the Democratic Party.

  3. Who knows. Maybe they are so foolish to think that 1 or 2 of Hlllary's 18,000,000 supporters would jump ship.

  4. She, like McCain, is a maverick.  He stired the pot, that's for sure.

Not only is she a woman, she is also a very hot woman.  And she has accomplished much.

  5. Well Ron Paul had already made it clear he'd have to decline if McCain asked him, and I didn't really care about the others.

Palin's ok.   Better than McCain, but McCain tops the ticket.  Go figure.

  6. She counters Obama's historic nomination at the convention which McCain needed to draw attention away from, she shows off a side of change after Obama picked an old Washington politician as his running mate, he's showing support for the disenfranchised Clinton voters, she's young, she's extremely well liked with an approval rating as governor of over 80%, she's very conservative so she's panders to the Republican conservative base that was unhappy with McCain and she's pretty tough willing to stand up against the establishment for the sake of the common good.  She's showed a history of standing up for the little guy.  I just wish she did more for him in terms of the electoral map.

  7. she is a fiscal conservative with a successful track record and is not a Washington insider.

  8. Experience in executive governance, similar stance on core issues, high approval rating, AND she is a woman.

Libs are upset because they feel that he picked her ONLY because she is a woman, but they weren't upset when Obama picked Biden just to appeal to the democratic base and be an attack dog. He obviously does not mesh with Obamas "change" mantra, he is the poster boy for insider politics as usual.

Truth is, the running mates are always chosen by how many votes can they bring to the ticket.

  9. McCain said he chose her because she is what we need.  I think he made a great choice.

  10. I'm not a repub but I imagine you'd have to ask McCain.  No one knows his reasons but him or you could wait until he's been elected and then it might be known publicly.  It doesn't matter really sense he's already won this election.  Hillary's supporters are still pissed that Buttock Insane Obama called them all "Uneducated racists" and that's something they aren't likely to forget any time soon.  Obama really screwed up with that one but then he is an idiot.

    McCain IS YOUR new president.

  11. Because she is a woman and he wants those Clinton voters.

  12. Hmmmm....I'll have to get back to you on that. I haven't spoken to John in a while; he's been pretty busy. But I'll be sure to ask him when I do. (Little nervous, aren't cha?)

  13. Name another Governor that has approval ratings as high as her and is knowledgeable about, energy, has practiced reform in their own party and is a conservative.  She was the BEST choice.  She is the BEST choice and an EFFECTIVE choice, believe me, conservatives are coming together.

  14. Distance himself from Bush by selecting a Washington outsider and show America that he is serious about changing how Washington works.

Energy - Having a Govenor who can tell voters how energy has benefited the vorters in Alska (78% of Americans want drilling) what better than to have a Governor who can tell them the benefits.

Have a VP who would ingnite the evangelical voters

and the Clinton voters who are moderates
