Democratic candidate's daughter got pregnant,wouldn't you be on here trashing Democrats and criticizing their family values.

Yes,I understand it's also a family value to marry the guy that got you pregnant,but isn't the first family value to not have a baby out of wedlock?

I'm not attacking Bristol Palin.I applaud her for doing what she feels is right,but I'm just talking about the hypocrisy. If a Democratic candidate's daughter did that,Republicans would harp at Democrats about how horrible their family values are

Also, the media was talking about it was because it's scandalous. They would go crazy for a story like this even if it was a Democrat or Republican. It's a hot story that delivers lots of ratings

Yes, if a Democrats daughter would have gotten pregnant they would be more than bashing them.  Republicans really need to get it together, OBAMA-BIDIN will win and it has nothing to do with Palin's family, it was already a done deal.

For the record, the Dems aren't bashing her daughter. They're bashing her hypocrisy. She wants schools to be forced to ignore s*x education and teach kids abstinence, a method that has failed FOREVER and counting, yet she can't even keep her own daughter from getting knocked up.

The point is if a kid wants to have s*x, they're going to have s*x. It doesn't matter how strict the parents are, if they want it, they'll get it. We need to teach kids to protect themselves just in case. What is wrong with that?

How blind can Palin be to still deny s*x education and promote abstinence when her own daughter is a perfect example of her failed ideas.

Of course there would have been criticism and attacks, but not all conservatives are like that.  I don't attack family members of candidates.  Also, there is little doubt in my mind that the media would have made such a big deal out of it, had been a liberal vs conservative.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but do see the hypocrisy on both sides.

The reason Palin's family took such heat is that their belief system does not work.  If that was not enough they belief in pushing those beliefs on others.  Democrats do not judge right and wrong like that.  Besides, Clinton's and Carter's brothers were frequently being made fun of.  The Obama family seems to be a favorite topic because of their looks, which I do not understand.

your right they would ..but dont you think if a GOPer was friends with a 60s terrorist and got a sweet heart deal with a felon on a house and went to an anti black church the DNC would be all over that..they are both scum but at the end of the day you have to chose who will do the least amount of damage to you and your family and country and this time its McCain/Palin..sorry Obama should never be president..use your own judgement and logic..face the facts..they are both two faced back stabbers and scum..

No. We didn't trash Chelsea for anything. Trashing a candidate's children is a decidedly Democrat trait.
