If it really is the "national security" issue you claim it to be, shouldn't we keep a watchful eye on all illegal immigrants and not just Mexicans?

  1. Your bigotry is showing.  Republicans are fighting the illegal aliens of all race, creed and color.  The Dems.. are struggling to provide a very, very expensive amnesty for them.

  2. Cubans have to escape their dictator and ways they have to cross oversea and an act was passed the moment they arrive here they are not illegal

mexicans cross the border and noa ct was passed

fair? no but nothing is fair

there is a watchful eye but the majority of immigrants are mexicans making it seem as if they are target

unfortunately there is a lot of racism misunderstanding and misinformation as well as corruption

the eye watches illegal immigrants pay taxes and even gives them a number to do so but won't give them a number to work decently

all i can say is that I hope one day the U.S Can live up to waht it says it is a free, just, country made up of immigrants from all over the world

  3. I don't care if someone is Mexican, Cuban, Russian, African American, etc. If you are illegal you are illegal. Don't know where u got that info buddy.....If someone is against Mexicans it has nothing to do with being a republican but merely being racist against them.

  4. Cubans are 100% legal.  The Cuban Adjustment Act of 1965 was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Lyndon Johnson.

Last year about 4,000 Cubans came to the USA and sought asylum.  Over 1,000,000 Mexicans came to the USA illegally.

Good luck, I hope this helped.

  5. Cubans qualify as refugees.  Mexicans don't.  Deal with it.

  6. I dont pick on one or the other, I am for ALL illegals being deported asap!!

  7. Many Cubans are political refugees from a brutal and oppresive regime.  Didn't you learn in school about Cuba?  Oh wait they don't teach about how they imprison anyone who advocates for Democracy and how your getting a job depends on your support for the communist regime?

  8. I'm OK with people who abide by the law.  I'm not OK with people who don't.

Cubans aren't here illegally; they have been granted political asylum from a communist country.

    That's why.

    And I'm not a republican.  I'm a libertarian.

  9. I don't know any of them who are OK with that.

  10. I'm an independent but I don't know any republicans(besides a few certain politicians)  who are okay with any illegals being here no matter where they came from.

  11. Because the Republicans have to pander to the Cuban Americans to win Florida in the Presidential election. To win over whites in the Western US they have to appear tough on illegal immigration.

  12. I'm not and we're (Republicans) are not. Cite some facts next time.

  13. We have the same kinds of problems with Cubans in many ways, as we do with Mexicanos. The only difference is the numbers and the issue of legality.

If you check out areas of Florida, which have been over run by Cubans, you will see poverty, crime and degradation very similar to those areas incubating illegal Mexicanos in large groups in the other areas of the US ...like LA Calif.

Cubans come here as refugees. Mexicanos come here as 50% of our LEGAL immigrants (hmmmm...wonder why so many are allowed over all other races/creeds) add to that another 10-15% annually who are illegals. Most of whom are Mexicanos.

It's a lie that we keep a proper eye on illegals in any event. Yes, your arguement would be true but for some reason I would only be guessing at, our government DOES NOT really care. IN fact, all evidence would suggest that, against the expressed will of the US citizens, our government WANTS the illegals to stay here, become citizens and admit even more.

  14. Cubans have the law behind them, asylum.

And the Hatians want us to treat them the same as Cuba.

But we need to be weary of asylum nowadays as well.

    Look at the UK.

But you've got the same problem there with politicians, Cubans generally support Republicans -- Mexicans, Democrats.  So our leaders are, once again, playing with our immigration policies for their own benefit.  Our leaders are the culprits when it comes to immigration.
