Can some Help with information How, Who,

My fathers name is not on my birth certificate?I tried Vital Check no luck. What would qualify under (legal terms) to obtain the information I'm inquiring on. Just trying to find my roots. Thank You! :)

If you have his full name you may be able to get it from RootsWeb, or similar sites. Google 'heredity sites'. SS Records are not proof of parentage however, so if his name is not on your birth certificate, there is no way to prove he is your father. If that is what you are hoping for...
