Requiem for PC: Okay for 10yo?

My 10yo just came back from spending a few weeks with his Dad, and he's asking to play Requiem - something he's been playing at his Dad's house. The game looks extremely violent and gory to me... Please tell me your opinion: Okay for 10yo to play? He says you can turn off the blood and violence, is this true? Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide.

  1. well i am 20 and i did play violent games when i was small but the graphics then weren't that realistic ,but nowadays games like gears of war and requiem have a age mention which is 18 in these games and i wouldn't allow my kids to play these games whenever i have them lol

but seriously haven't u heard about the suicidal tendencies which violent  pc games tend to have on kids

its even worse then a violent movie because that's just a movie but this is simulation

u should buy a racing game like need for speed for him,it can only make his driving bad lol
