Requierments for starting daycare in M.D.?

Question

I am thinking about getting certified for doing home daycare (in my home) I have heard a lot of things about getting certified. Like if anyone in your home has felony record, no matter what it is..and blah blah blah.

I was wondering if anyone knows any websites I can go to so I can see the requierments.

I really want to get licensed here in Md. to do daycare but my husband has a felony charge from when he was 19 or 20. NOTHING PHYSICAL OR SEXUAL!! And I have heard I cannot get licensed if he is still living in my home. Is that true??? Any help would be great. Thanks
