I need to withdraw some money from my bank, I am 15 and live in Ohio. Does someone over 16 or 18 have to be with you or can I go withdraw some money from my bank account?

  1. Is it your bank account in your name?  Most banks require you to be 16 before you can open an account.  If they let you open one at 15, then they have to let you withdraw money at 15.

Or you could use the ATM, much easier.

  2. it honestly depends on the bank...i work in a bank in virginia, and unless you're 18, you need to have a parent or guardian with you to get money

  3. FOR MY DAD IT DEPENDS ON THE KID. TODAY I GOT THE CHASE HIGH SCHOOL CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR THOSE 13-17. IT IS LINKED TO A PARENTS ACCOUNT. MY PACKAGE COMES WITH A VISA CHECK CARD. THERE ARE NO SERVICE FEES. ALL THE RULES APPLY WITH THIS ACCOUNT EXCEPT IF YOU OVERDRAFT IT IS TAKEN FROM YOUR PARENTS. SO BE CAREFUL. IT CONVERTS TO A FREE CHECKING ACCOUNT WHEN YOU TURN 19.
