  2. Well, most community colleges are only 2 years and you get an Associate degree.  So you'll need 2 years of Community college geting a 4.0, 2 years of a 4-year university getting a 4.0, and then 4 years of vet school.  I started off pre-vet at a private college and they said you need a 4.0 all 4 years of undergrad to get into Vet School.  Plus, you'll need a very good score on the VCAT exam.

  3. I would google it under the name of the school you listed and you should find the school website and then you will be able to go online and find out the info you need.

They can send you a catalog and all the credentialing info that you would have to have.

Vet school is tougher than Med school because you have to know basically all the Medical stuff, plus what is needed for most every animal.  So I would decide on a specialty early on like equine veterinary medicine (horses), or basically large animal (livestock, etc.) or small animal (dogs & cats, etc.).

You'll need really top grades too.  One of our friends couldn't get into vet school in the states and ended up going to the Phillipines, but still was able to get a great education, plus met his spouse there.  Last thing I heard they were working in their own veterinary medical clinic together in Texas.
