Requirements for starting private pre school at home for children at the age 2 - 5?

I want to open a private pre school for children at the age of between 3 and 6. I am living in Illinois state and I would like to know what requirements I need to meet. Will I need any specific certifications from the state?

  2. Curly is right on target. Don't forget the liability insurance. That will be huge as you are going to be responsible for the safety of all the kids. Just think of the taxes and workman's comp and Social Security for yourself and your employees. Good luck. This is going to be a tough ride.
