  1. Is this for high school or college?

For high school you have a lot more flexibility in weight and height and speed and strength.  Minimums:  Height: 5'4'',  Weight: 150 lbs., 40 yd dash: 4.9, bench: 180 lbs.

College is more demanding.  Minimums: Height 5'6", Weight: 180 lbs., 40 yd dash: 4.7, bench: 220 lbs.

They will never admit it, but what you run in the mile is not significant other than for your conditioning.  It is not a factor for judging your position.  It purpose is to build your endurance.

As a freshman playing varsity there would be an expectancy you exceed these marks in speed and strength or size.  However, each school's coaching staff must rely on the talent pool they have available and what their coaching strategies are, so any of the above standards may vary based on what athletes they have and what they are looking for.

In otherwords your ability to make a team is entirely up to the coaches and not necessarily if you meet or excel standards.
