Requirements of becoming a Locomotive Engineer?

Does anyone know if the requirments of becoming a Locomotive Engineer has to have a High School Diploma. I'm Nineteen and interested in that field. I didn't finish school.

Yes you require high school 12 grade certificate to be accepted at university, locomotive engineer needs to attend mechanical engineering subjects
