what do i need to be able to do that?

my mom talked to a high school in sanfran and said they only needed my transcripts and a friend of mine is studying in the us now with only his visa, passport and a permit stating he could live in the us and with NO GREENCARD, how could that be possible?!

what are the requirements for me to study high school as a mexican citizen if i have (not immidiate) family members that are american citizens by birth?!

  1. the first thing that a school will require from you is your transcript of record or at least your latest report card.  Initially the school will be assessing your grades (based on the report card or a transcript of record) then the school will determine the grade or year level that they think is best for you.  In some schools, after they assess your scholastic record, will require you to take the entrance test.  if you pass the test, then you may be accepted.  For you to be able to enroll, the school may require you, a foreign student, to present a special study permit from the immigration, the school might also ask you present your unexpired passport or even your parents' passport if they are also foreigners.  BUT the best ones who could tell you the requirements are the schools you plan to enroll in.  Requirements usually vary from school to school.  So I suggest that you get in touch with the school registrar who is the position to tell you what are required for foreign students. good luck!
