Requiring last name?

okay so on my myspace for people to add me its asks for my last name or email address. i know how to change this and went to account settings. but it still asks for it. is there any way to change that?

They ask 4 ur last name so ppl who search u cud find u easier

lyk ppl cud jst type in ur full name
