Rescue helicopter over Clyde ?

does anyone know why there a rescue helicopter going up and down the clyde between the bridge at jamaica street and the suspension bridges.two Sunday evenings ago. around about the 26th Aug at around 9p.m. It was so low you could see the rescue guy sitting on the edge of choppers door ??? Did you fall in the Clyde ??

  1. Could be the helicopter from Prestwick on a mission or just as likely the crew may be training. This can be done by simulated rescue with coastguard assistance. Or by putting floating targets which emit a beacon and then "finding" them.
