Research paper , topics needed?

Question

So im doing a research paper on global warming and i've run out of ideas to write about.

So far i have how its caused,what we can do to reduce it, how we can reduce it globally, how its effecting us now, how its effecting us in the future,and how its real. Any thing else i can write about? im stumped!

an interesting topic that most people don't think about is that for many reptiles, the s*x of the offspring depends on the temperature of incubation of the egg.  So TEMPERATURE determines the s*x! In some species only females develop at warmer temperatures (that is only a few degrees different!)  If global warming increases the temperature of the world by a few degrees, then it is possible that many reptile species (which temperature determines the s*x) will have only one s*x developing and without the other s*x there will be no more reproduction, followed by extinction of those species.

Why exactly is our planet Earth going to be destroyed in 2012?

Why exactly is our planet Earth going to be destroyed in 2012? People say we are destroying our landfills by not recycling and the ozone layer is getting thinner, but there is so many details to work with, that there is pretty much no possible way in figuring out why our Planet Earth is going to be destroyed by then!

there is allot of things that you could do. you could write about its effects on countries and international politics. what changes it could cause for the environment and ecosystems. eg disrupting currents that bring up nutrients for krill causing a collapse of fish stocks.
