Research re: turning skin cells into stem cells?

Question

I remember reading a while ago (this year) about a scientist in Japan (I think) that had discovered how to program subcutaneous cells to behave like stem cells. I haven't seen anything about it since and can't find anything with just a basic search. Ten points to anyone who can provide a link. Thanks!
