Reset BIOS password in Dimension 2400?

I've a Dell Dimension 2400, and I want to reset my BIOS password. I read something about password jumper and I can't find it. How do I do it? Please give me step by step instruction. Thank you!

Hi George

The simplest way to remove a BIOS password is to simply remove the CMOS battery. If we pull out this battery, the computer will forget alot of its hardware settings, including its BIOS password.

Leave the battery off for 25 minutes to make sure that everything is drained from the laptop.

Put back the battery, and power up the computer. You will need to goto “Load BIOS Defaults” in BIOS and save the changes to fix them.
