Reset tire pressure sensors?

Question

Is it true only the dealer can do this? How about Pepboys? If I get an oil change and they rotate the tires, the sensors are supposed to be reset according to the manual.

Had to drive my car a few miles before sensors reset.That was just on one tire.It might take 5 to 6 mile drive before they all transmit to the computer..

OWNERS MANUAL FOR THE HARD WAY.... let out air, put in air, the horn blows,,,,,pain in the butt.

Easy way, PEP boys, Merchants, etc.,,, have a tool that they can put down beside the tire, and reset your sensors,,, in about 5 minutes.  They should have done it when they rotated the tires.
